TheraCann International is committed to public education in Panama and globally in relation to medical grade/commercial cannabis. With the participation of Dr Ericka Stahl, we took the initiative to evaluate the level of knowledge on the subject in a group of 1737 people in the Republic of Panama.
The objective of the study is to offer educational tools to all people seeking guidance about medical cannabis, so that they can develop their own criterion based in scientific evidence and previous studies.
The survey was done through multiple media outlets to a sample of 1737 people.
87.3% (1514) of the participants were identified as Panamanians with 82.9% having an academic degree of bachelor or higher.
Panamanian legislation for the regulation of cannabis production that is compliant with pharmaceutical requirements and standards is currently being evaluated.
In this report we will detail the results obtained and the vision of TheraCann International to be part of a movement to eliminate the stigma and misinformation about this topic.
